Ich lese derzeit Cees Nootebooms Leere umkreist vom Land. Reisen in Australien und ich kann es nur weiterempfehlen.
Vor allem NACHDEM man in Australien war und ein paar der von Nootebooms beschriebenen Plätzen selbst besucht, gesehen und "dabei" war ist das Buch - für mich zumind. - mehr als interessant.
